Preparing your Smash Cake session
One year already! The Smash Cake session celebrates that first birthday with joy and bursts of laughter. You need very little to prepare, just a rested baby in good spirits. The rest is my business, and above all lots of smiles.
The right time of day
The best moment is after the morning nap: your baby is rested, alert and in good spirits, exactly what we need for sweet little faces and true laughter. Avoid coming right after a big meal, so they still feel like tasting their cake.
The cake
I take care of everything: the cake is provided, and it is kosher Badatz. Simply let me know in advance what your baby likes and above all any allergy or intolerance, so I can prepare a perfectly suited, risk-free cake.
The outfit and the set
Your baby's outfit is provided; there is nothing for you to plan on that side. The set is fully personalised: we define the theme and colours together, for styling that is one hundred percent in your image and your child's.
Studio or outdoors
The session can take place in the studio or outdoors, as you wish. We choose together what you like best.
What to bring
The main thing: a small change of clothes and something to clean your baby afterwards. They will probably get cake everywhere, and that is precisely the charm of this session! A wipe, a towel and comfortable clothes for the way home are more than enough.
The right mindset
Let your baby explore, touch, taste and have fun at their own pace. The freer they are, the more lively and spontaneous the photos. On your side, relax and enjoy: your good mood is contagious, and it is what gives the most beautiful images.
After the session
You receive your private online gallery within two working weeks. These joyful photos are perfect for a lovely print, a magnet or a small keepsake album of this first birthday. I will be delighted to guide you towards the keepsake that feels like you.
