Preparing your couple session
Taking the time to celebrate your love, quite simply. An engagement, a wedding anniversary or simply the wish to keep a beautiful trace of your story: this session is a lovely moment to live as a couple. Here are a few tips so everything is perfect. The essential: come relaxed and enjoy each other.
The outfits
Choose coordinated outfits, in matching tones without being identical, for a harmonious, natural look. Favour quality fabrics such as cotton or linen, which fall nicely, and avoid writing and patterns for timeless photos. For colours, warm or pastel shades, soft rather than flashy, always work beautifully. A little tip: prepare and try on your outfits the day before, to avoid any last-minute stress.
The locations
I take you to settings I deeply love, ones that make your images shine, depending on the mood you are looking for: the sea and the softness of sunset, the forest for a natural, enveloping atmosphere, the fields and their golden light, the desert for a grandiose backdrop, or Jerusalem's most beautiful neighbourhoods. Together we choose the place that feels most like you.
The right time and the light
I photograph in the golden light of late afternoon, that magical hour when the light is soft, warm and flattering. It is what gives the images their luminous, timeless feel. This light only lasts a while, so punctuality is precious: it lets us enjoy the most beautiful moment without rushing.
Small details to check
Think of neat nails, often visible in photos of intertwined hands, and avoid new shoes that hurt as well as fresh tan lines. Also check that your pockets are empty and remove hair ties from wrists, for clean lines on your clothes. I will remind you on the day.
The right mindset
This is the most important: come relaxed and trust yourselves. There is no pose to get right; I guide you at every moment. Forget the camera, look at each other, laugh, hold each other. Those true gestures, that real closeness, are what I capture to create tender images in your image. The more you let go, the more beautiful the photos.
The weather
If it rains, no worries: we simply reschedule the session. And if the sky is cloudy, rejoice: a veiled sky gives magnificent, very soft light, a true dream for photographers.
